Wonderful cottage, great location

5 of 5
Had an amazing stay at the cottage, location was excellent, very clean except for the barbecue that we had to clean ourselves before using, but apart from that everything was perfect, will be booking this cottage again next year

Comfortable, relaxing and convenient

5 of 5
Fordingbridge gives excellent access to the north west of the New Forest, and is half-an-hour from Salisbury. Caxton House is near the town centre, close to a good pub and a Tesco Express with a larger Co-op Store five minutes walk away. The central car park (for which we were loaned a New Forest car park timer) is just round the corner. A bus-stop immediately opposite is served by the open-topped New Forest circular tours. Access is through gates which are kept locked, up stairs at the back to the first floor and into a little conservatory which we often used for reading. The kitchen is galley style and well equipped with ample fridge freezer, electric cooker and dishwasher. The lounge dining room is furnished in period style as the pictures show, and is very relaxing. Similarly the main bedroom on the same floor is comfortably furnished with a small en-suite bathroom. There is a large airy bathroom upstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We filled our days with lots to do, and Caxton House provided comfort and convenience when we returned. Highly recommended.
