Lovely quiet site even in half term. The lodge is very well equipped and feels warm and homely. The views were amazing and it added to the sense of calm and tranquility that we felt. We ate out in the vaults restaurant and the food was good, we could take the dog in but only as far as the bar, which was fine. The beach opposite was a very steep walk down and up but well worth a visit. We also loved Kingsand and Cawsand, very quiet and quaint. We walked from Downderry along the beach to Seaton, lovely walk and very dog friendly. Looe is also worth a visit but the main beach isn't dog friendly, it's worth taking a drive up to,the top by Looe Island as dogs are welcome there. The only criticism I would have is that if you stay for less than a week you have to pay for the pool, we didn't use it but our 2 teenagers did. A great holiday .

Lodge is very comfy and fully equipped with everything you could need (although no bbq). Hot tub is amazing! Child and dog friendly. Beautiful view over the hills and Plymouth. Right on beach but very steep walk down and up! Facilities on site are also good for families ate in both cafe and pub restaurant both were good. Swimming pool kids loved too. Easy access to local villages with beachs of kingsands and cawsands. Local restaurant the view is amazing highly recommend. Overall great stay would definitely recommend and return.
