Perfect location and very well equiped house

                  5 of 5
We're back from a great journey to London. We chose to book Ivy Court because of its location and most of all for the parking place off street. We will come back for the house in itself. It is fully equiped with all you need, 10 minutes walk from the South Bermondsey railway station which is not more than 5 minutes from London Bridge station. It is also a short distance from the Tesco where we should find everything for our breakfast and dinners. There is a small garden, we didn't use it as the weather was a bit cold for dinning outside. Inside the house we had a cosy and welcoming living room, a kitchen wide enough to cook and eat, two confortable bedrooms and a bathroom. The house was warm enough when we arrived but we had all the explainations from Steve to use the heater. The booking was very quickly made, 7 days before arrival we paid the balance and get the code for the lock where the key was. We arrived early in the afternoon and could relax after our journey. We really enjoyed our stay in Ivy Court and would definitely recommend it... and would love to come back soon! Thank you Steve for everything, it was really a good stay for us. We travelled back home yesterday and today I had an email from Steve to tell me he has returned my security deposit. Very efficient customer services.

Great week in a great place

                  5 of 5
A definite five star experience! A group of us came from Sydney for a weeks stay in Sept 2011 and were pleasantly surprised by the utter convenience of the place. You literally fall out the door and your choice of bus or underground is at your disposal. It was great for when we came home late after those long nights on the town to be so close to transport especially when one has a large group in tow. We easily bought all our weeks grocery supplies at the big shopping centre about 5 minutes walk down the road. Shame for us men though that the girls in the group also found the other stores to shop at while we were there too…The house is set in a pleasing complex of feature and historical buildings which lend it great character and an air of history. That’s the great thing about London history every where. Pleased to say though that the insides are a total contrast of chic contemporary modern conveniences and some very cool African decor to keep it interesting. My wife and I really loved the penthouse suite with our own ensuite and little balcony to escape the company of the rest of our rowdy crew!! The house was clean and in generally good condition. If we had more time we would have loved to hire a car and explore the english countryside as we apparently had secure parking was just outside our front door....and dont even mention the great BBQ in the garden that we couldn't christen because of the bad weather we had that week. Not the house's fault I guess. All round loved this place and when I next take the troop back to London the Pumphouse will be hearing from us again.
