My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week stay in this lovely well equipped villa. In a lovely quiet location. The villa is very well presented and has everything you need for day to day living. There is ample linen and towels in the villa, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The 2 patio areas outside are great for outdoor dining and there is a large BBQ. There is a lovely restaurant in Leopetri called the 5 Arches, we found this a little difficult to find, however really worth the hunt, amazing food, although huge portions, the staff will let you take any leftovers home if you wish, very attentive staff in a relaxing atmosphere. The use of a car for your stay is great and a must for the remote location of the villa! The villa is situated just outside the village of Leopetri and is set among a small estate of similar villas which are mainly occupied and lived in by British people, who we found to be very friendly and helpful. The centre of Leopetri is about a 20 minute walk from the villa, Ayia Napa and Protarus are about a 10-20 minute drive away, with lovely beaches, restaurants, shops and bars. A taxi to Ayia Napa will cost you €20 each way. There is apparently a bus that goes from Protarus and Ayia Napa to Leopetri river, however this is quite a distance from the villa. The meet and greet service was very smooth and informative, as we arrived very late at night, we were able to stop at a 24 hour shop on our way to the villa to pick up some supplies for the morning. We had a problem with the car on the first day of our stay, this was dealt with and fixed extremely quickly. Leopetri is a great base to explore the island and the roads are very easy to negotiate as driving and road signs are the same as the UK. The Troodos mountains and Aphrodite's birth place are my favourite day trips, these will need a full day to cover. We have visited Cyprus many times and usually stayed in a resort, the villa provided a lovely peaceful stay in Cyprus. The contact between the owner from enquiry stage to return was very pleasant and quick responses at allow times, and also the same with the guy that deals with the property in Cyprus, was very friendly and helpful when needed. Would recommend this villa for a peaceful stay in Cyprus and we would definitely return to this accommodation.
