We stayed in chalet 96. To get into the chalet the key is in a security box on the decking, we had to ring the owner to be given the access code (info may usually be given in a welcome email but this was never recieved)
The glass doors bring in lots of light to the chalet which is lovely. It was furnished really nicely, Kitchen had everything we needed, although the blind above the sink needs replacing as I had a fright one night, a chap walked along the path directly behind the chalet towards his own I imagine but I just didnt expect to see anyone so close.
We didnt use the sofa bed in lounge as we just used the 2 bedrooms. The double bedroom was furnished really nicely and had black out curtains. The memory foam mattress was too soft for us, especially as my daughter decided to get up a few times in the night and being pregnant I struggled to climb out of bed.
The children's bedroom had a truck bed, unfortunately my daughter was too young to appreciate it but I was impressed, it also had a foam fold up futon. The only issues we had with this room was with closing the blind, so just hung a towel over and the creaky door, really didnt help when I was trying to creep out while my daughter was almost asleep.
Bathroom was small but nice, didnt really need anything more.
The chalet is set back off the water, there is an access road for the chalets that are directly on the waterfront between chalet 96 and the front row. We still enjoyed the view but I was under the assumption it was directly on the waterfront, due to the first picture showing grass infront of the lake, on this listing.
The decked area is nice, has a rattan sofa, and we spent both evening out there until it went dark, I had to use our pillows to for back support as it was a very firm sofa.
The £25 due on site deposit, was actually required online before hand. We were told the deposit is to be paid back 3 working days after checkout of a clean and tidy chalet. After contacting owner it seems this can take a further 7 we're assuming working days, We are on working day 9 now and no sign of it coming back.
Glan Gwna park is nice, saw a few people fishing on the lake in the evenings. The bar had free Wi-Fi but we didnt have time to try the pool but it was hot while we were there and it seemed very popular.
