A gorgeous cabin set in a beautiful location

5 of 5
The family run steading cottages are lovely. We stayed in Comraich with friends. The cabin was clean, comfy and fully equipt with everything you'd need -from tea and coffee to dog biscuits! The cabin is in such a beautiful location with lots of lovely walks and sights to see. For families there's also a fantastic playground which has been newly constructed by the local community. The gallery and craft shop is also worth a visit to see the beautiful crafts made by local artisans! Would absolutely reccomend staying at Steading Holidays. And I hope to stay again soon!

Westray is warm, welcoming, cosy and very well equipped.

On arrival at Westray, we were welcomed by a lovely warm cabin, that was well presented and in a beautiful location just up from the banks of the loch. The accommodation was spacious and clean, with everything you could want for an easy enjoyable holiday. Being really picky, the key safe was a bit tricky to open, and the double bed had a small bit of damage, but this could easily be repaired. A little bit of warning about the Corran Ferry, you have to use the ferry to get to the other side of the Loch to visit Glencoe, Fort William. The ferry costs £8.20 each way! An expense which we hadn't factored into our daily budget. Overall we highly recommend Westray and look forward to visiting again.
