Magical place

4 of 5
We stayed in Broc log cabin last week and had a great time. The cabin is comfortable and has all the mod cons you might need. The view from the cabin over Loch Ruthven is stunning. There is plenty of wildlife. We had a resident pheasant and his wives. Also saw deer in the woods and many varieties of small birds used the seed feeder. It's a great location.Feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but Inverness is only 15 minutes away by car.Highly recommend.

The chalet was perfect including a small enclosed garden for our two dogs.

The chalets are in a great position with views across the valley. The accommodation is very good with everything needed for a comfortable stay. This is a very quiet part of the country so is perfect for a get away from it all holiday. The surrounding valley is very picturesque and "dark" great for star gazing. The pub is great for food all made fresh by the landlady. It is also very dog friendly with three of their own having free rainin the pub. Next to the pub is a Well equipped Spar shop who are both friendly and helpful. The location has good connection to the glens and lock ness and western highlands. We enjoyed the peace and quiet whilst the dogs enjoyed the nice sized secure garden. The access to the chalet is a general slope so is suitable for those with limited mobility. I would recommend this holiday to any one who is looking for a walking holiday with their dogs.
