A Perfect Stay in the Old Coach, Cadgwith

                            5 of 5
We contacted Paula prior to our stay to ask if it was ok to arrive late as we were travelling to Cornwall after work, and she said she would leave the lights on and the keys for us. Our trip down was smooth, and we arrived just as the sun went down over Cadgwith. We pulled into the site, and straight away could see the absolutely gorgeous Coach House in the grounds, with the shutters up and a warm glow and lighting coming from within. You cannot imagine my excitement! The carriage itself is just down the path from the parking, and I left my hubby to bring in the luggage while I simply drooled over what met us. The old coach is super quaint, homely, vintagey and it was warm from the small stove (electric) which gave the inviting glow. The beautiful bed, complete with floral duvets, throws and cushions was inviting after a long drive and we couldnt wait to unpack and relax. The coach is well equipped with everything you'll need, and there was a cream tea waiting for us on the cute pine table in the corner. The fridge contained milk and clotted cream from a local dairy in traditional glass bottles and jars which added to the whole feel of nostalgia. We closed the original shutters and had the most perfect nights sleep in this magical place, awaking to find goats, ducks and cockerel not far from our door - simply idyllic! Paula introduced herself to us and she is simply lovely, and it seems nothing is too much trouble to ensure a relaxing stay. The old coach is a fabulous, unique holiday home, with many home comforts. The site is immaculate, and the location is great for touring and visiting the whole of the lizard and further. We found the coves and harbours simply gorgeous and had a lovely week. I would recommend the Old Coach House to anyone, and we will return next year. Thank you Paula, we loved it! xxx

                            Wonderful

Wonderful little place, clean, well appointed, everything you need. Situated on the edge of the village in a quiet tranquil spot near the farmhouse where the owners Graham and Bette live. From the moment you arrive to find a chilled drink and home made cake waiting for you, to the time you leave you always feel welcome and at home.

                            Lovely cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jo's lovely cottage. It was very peaceful and relaxing with lovely views in to the garden. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable and is everything you could wish for - if only the weather had been as good! Really appreciated the eggs, croissants, butter, milk and clotted cream - delicious! Hope to return at some time for another stay with our springer spaniel, who enjoyed his holiday too.
