Impressive views, great base for exploring, tranquil and peaceful

4 of 5
Beautiful location, and the view is outstanding... even when waking up on a rainy day, the Welsh countryside is enough to leave you speechless. Though this is a rather basic chalet, most of it is very modern. In regards to food, your best place to shop is the big Coop in Tywyn, loads of choice. Great base for exploring; Aberdovey, which is about 10 mins away and lovely - almost like a little Brighton. I recommend The Sunflower Cafe! Also Tywyn is nice, especially pop into the Pudding Parlor for a friendly and rather inexpensive experience. We also went to see the Dolgoch Falls which were really impressive. And if you have time, a trip to Llangelynin beach will 'wow' you. My puppy loved the chalet and the surrounding area. One improvement we would suggest is free wifi as it was rather difficult to get any signal. Though it was really nice to just switch off completely from technology etc being a teacher! And perhaps a new cooker as it took me 2 hours to cook oven chips! We also have quite a big car and so couldn't park on the suggested parking space, so had to park lower down. Despite this can't fault the place, felt safe and at peace. So friendly, and again the views - beyond words! Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic

Cozy, welcoming, amazing location. Weather helped, being the hottest days of the year so far. Only drawback was we couldn't stay longer. Will be coming again.
