The place is very remote and in a quiet and stunning area. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the hut was very warm. It was clean and we had everything we needed. Toilet, shower block and a lovely kitchen are right outside. Yes you do have to walk to the shower block but it's not as far as some reviews make out! It's like half a minute away. If it's a problem for some, I suggest rent the Barn or go to a hotel. We loved the free roaming gees and cats. The owners are lovely and let us use their fenced paddock to walk our dogs. Local pub is brilliant, nice food and very warm service. We would definitely recommend this place if you like animals and if you like being in remote countryside. Shop is approx.2 miles drive and a pub 1 mile down the hill.

Everything you need in a cosy, beautiful cabin!

Me and my girlfriend loved every bit of our stay in the cabin in Trawsfynydd. It has everything you need from a cooker, to a fridge, to toaster, microwave, kettle, the lot! Also a T.V with plenty of channels and a DVD player with plenty of good DVD's for when the weather isn't so great and you don't feel like braving the rain! It is very cosy and the heaters around keep it very warm when you need it to be. The views out the front are gorgeous with the landscape ever changing due to weather and clouds forming/passing by the mountains. Location wise, it is only 20-40 minutes drive from all the good locations i.e Tesco's and so on in Portmadog, to lovely walks and hikes at Betws-y-coed and Mount Snowdon. There is a nice Inn just a 5 minute walk round the corner too where you can get breakfast, lunch, dinner or just have a few drinks. We were very happy with our stay, with nothing to complain about, and would 100% go back again! Kathryn was very helpful too with suggestions on what to see and do. Many thanks from Jordan and Ruta! :)
