                    Absolutely beautiful

Can not describe how calming and beautiful this little cottage is...inside is so relaxing. we were warmly welcomed by Corrinne and Tim also with wine and little cheesecakes and they had so much knowledge of the area. We can’t thank them enough and would definitely recommend this stay to anyone in any season, we can’t wait to come back in the summer.

                    Fantastic mid term break

Just returned from a fabulous 5 days in this lovely wee cottage in the quaint village of Kirkoswald. The cottage is extremely well equipped a real home from home and just round the corner from the village shop and both pubs. Can recommend the Featherston Arms for food it was delicious. The village is very well situated for walks around the local area and if you wish to go further afield there are many beautiful places on the doorstep. Would love to have lit the real coal fire however it was not cold enough and the storage heating in the cottage makes it very cosy at this time of year. Slight problem with flies which seemed to be particularly resistant to fly spray, this was the case in the pub also so not sure if it's the time of year or the due to the surrounding country side however a minor annoyance and not enough to put us off. Only recommendation I would make is to provide a bit more information about how well equipped the cottage is as I took a lot of utensils etc as we did eat in or take picnic lunches most days however on arrival realised that I did not need them. It is clear the cottage is well used. Thanks so much for a fabulous 5 days
