Had a brilliant time

5 of 5
Stayed 4 nights, we had wonderful time. The lodge was clean and well equipped, situated in a lovely setting and nearby to many places of interest. Only one minor negative, reported shower was broken upon arrival, was told would be fixed next day but didn't happen. Would recommend a visit

Really cute little chalet with private garden space and lovely views in a great location

We recently stayed at the chalet for a few nights and had a really great time. Although it's small we had everything we needed and the setting is just lovely. You have great views when you look over the adjoining field, we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. We ate out one night at the nearby pub, which was really nice and they accommodated my youngest who is disabled, pureeing her food for her so she got to have food from the menu. Would also recommend the local shop in the village. We bought some amazing meat there, also lovely local honey, beer and bread. 10 minute drive to Dymchurch beach and the safari park Port Lymne was nearby, which we'd never even heard of before, but had a great day out there. The owners were really accommodating and gave us fresh eggs and veg from their garden on our arrival, a nice surprise! We would definitely go back, a lovely little retreat from the world :-)
