The lovely cottage had all the amenities required for our stay and is situated in beautiful grounds with we deer and a lake. Located deep in the quiet countryside yet only 10 minutes drive to Londonderry and 15 minutes from the the border with Ireland. My wife and daughter tried to visit as many attractions as possible including but not limited to the Giant Causeway and famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge - and found that all were within easy driving distance from the cottage. There are beaches within easy reach and we thoroughly recommend Dough Island beach over the border in Donegal. Some of the scenery on both sides of the border is breath taking. Kevin and Caroline who are very friendly could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and interesting - Kevin to the point of getting absolutely drenched (on the one afternoon of rain we had) whilst endeavoring to show me some good fishing locations. He also obtained a fishing permit for me. If you are into fishing, there are salmon and trout rivers nearby. I recommend this property without hesitation.

Elaine was a wonderful host and the cottage was HUGE and absolutely beautiful. Our family of 5 stayed there for 2 nights and I wish it had been a week. Home baked cupcakes, views of rolling hills with cows and calves. Elaine went above and beyond to help us find a whale watching tour guide and give us any other info we were looking for. I would definitely go back and highly recommend. It's only a couple of minutes drive from the town centre but out of the way enough to be completely peaceful and surrounded by country views. Thanks!!
