Budget priced base which is well positioned for days out and restaurants in the evening

5 of 5
Very small but that is reflected by the price. Two single beds and a double sofa bed but perhaps not ideal for a family of four due to size unless you want to save money on accommodation so that you can spend it on days out instead. Cooking facilities are limited (a slow cooker would be useful; £14.99 in Aldi). There is nowhere to store luggage. Very, very quiet location just two miles from The Lizard village with good restaurants also nearby in Coverack etc. A large grassy area outside meant that the kids could play football etc. No wifi and data roaming is poor. We loved it as we used it as a base for sleeping in and not much more. We visited St Michael's Mount, Treevor Mine and completed some excellent walks to the coast and down to the Lizard. The village has a football pitch and a free tennis court. The scenery is stunning. An honest review; we got what we paid for hence the 5 star rating and hopefully that is reflected above without intending to sound negative.

All you could need...

5 of 5
Lovely chalet with everything you need and a thoughtful hot water bottle! Good location for exploring we had great couple of days. Just be careful as the hot water is very very hot if you have little people washing their hands they will easily burn. Could do with a warning about that near the taps. Well equipped kitchen. Would visit again.
