Pretty Cottage in Stunning Location

5 of 5
We stayed here for 6 weeks September / October 2017. The cottage is in a very peaceful location with stunning mountain views. Internally you have everything you need. The outside space is very private with natural shade always available for those very hot days. Car hire is recommended as it is a 2 km walk to the local village which is well served by the Dolmus to the next town and then into Fethiye. The village has a range of small local supermarkets, and a farmers market on a Monday. You could not ask for a better host, Ine who lives a little further up the road was always on hand to give advise on places to see, local walks and restaurants to eat etc. We cannot wait to return

A typical Turkish Delight!

5 of 5
If you want a home away from home - this is it! We were not interested in entertainment, loud music or hotel food. The house was very clean and tidy upon arrival. The bonus of having bikes to cycle into town and explore was brilliant! We managed to cycle to the market and bring our provisions home - what a luxury to be able to make salads and sit outside with a bottle of wine and chill! We enjoyed waking up to hearing animals and local Turkish people going about their daily lives. Quiet and peaceful surroundings and in the beautiful garden, we could laze in the hammocks or in the typical Turkish gazebo. The photos are accurate. We had breakfast each morning on the patio looking over the farmers field. There are lots of tours provided for in town if you want to go further afield. Two musts: a typical Turkish massage the day trip by boat which takes you on the lake to a huge market where all the locals go to buy their food, a BBQ lunch a swim in the lake and finally make your self 10 years younger by immersing your self in the warm mud at the Mud Baths !
