Spacious apartment in a good location

4 of 5
Overall, I agree with the points made in the previous review by Rebecca. The photos give an accurate depiction of the apartment and Jesus, the owner, is friendly and willing to be flexible. The apartment is good value and was clean and reasonably well-equipped (thank goodness for IKEA!) although some of the kitchen equipment was a bit random. We didn't use the TV or air-con. As mentioned previously, the location is high, overlooking Port de Soller - you can just see about 50 metres of the water and promenade. The road down is quite steep but easily walkable - a bit more demanding on the way back! If you drive, there's a free car-park just as you get to the harbour and there is private parking outside the apartment. There are a couple of supermarkets in the town bit it's a bit of a long trudge back with shopping. The port has an array of restaurants and bars along the promenade so we only had breakfast in the apartment. A few points are: the double bed isn't particularly comfortable for two adults and creaks noisily. October is, I suppose, when a lot of building work goes on all over town so there was a fair amount of machinery noise during the day as well as the ubiquitous barking dogs all over the place. Not the fault of the apartment, though! A family group of three, we certainly enjoyed our stay and I would choose to stay again if we return.

Perfect Place

5 of 5
We would certainly recommend anyone who is thinking about booking this finca to do so. The perfect quiet surroundings, the beautiful house and the luxury of your very own swimming pool are the ingredients for a very relaxed holiday. For small children the Finca is perfectly equipped and if not, the fincaservice can arrange just about anything. We will certainly go back to this beautiful place on Mallorca.
