Very comfortable, superb location. Fantastic views

We were met by very pleasant owner who had left a very generous amount of food for us. Two adults and three pretty much grown up teenagers were very comfortable. Very clean, tasteful and new furnishings. A genuine ten minute walk to the very pretty town. twenty minute drive to beach and supermarkets. An hour to Malaga a bit more to the stunning town of Ronda. Best bit by far is the location perched on the edge of a hill we spent hours watching the vultures soar in front of us as they fed their chicks visible on on precarious nests.. Gardens are lovely. Our best Spanish villa so far.

            Nice Spot

Great location for these apartment. Just off the center off the village. Everything was an easy walk. Lots of nice day trips close by. Our apartment which was the Done Jose had rather dangerous stairs for anyone who has walking or mobility issues. No bannister on one side and a beam to limbo under near the bottom. No problem for us but worth mentioning, but nice character property all the same,

We spent three weeks in beautiful Finca El Rio in August 2009. Lina and Frank showed us the fabulous mountains that surround this little paradise, the river and the magnificent eucalyptus forests, lakes and good restaurants. The well-equipped cottage is situated under trees along a small stream. The pool is located in a beautiful garden. Fruit trees are available and fresh orange juice in the morning picked from the tree are delicious. But nothing replaces the kind of Lina and Frank! We fell in love with this region and we will return four weeks in July and August 2010. We are eager to find this haven of peace.
