              Peaceful and private

              5 of 5
Tom and Tasha are beautiful people and made us feel very welcome, as did Dotty and Fara the dogs. The cabin nestles quietly in its own private position over looking the forest and ocean. The cabin was clean, well equipped and organised. When we arrived we were greeted by a bottle of wine, bread, a bowl of fruit and melon in the fridge. Starting each day out on the patio with breakfast and a good book was a perfect way to relax into a chilled stay. Azoia is a quiet restful location, perfect for a simple holiday or a good location for exploring the area of Sintra and Lisbon. The shower in the cabin was hot and well powered, great at the end of a hot beachy day. Tom and Tasha were especially helpful when we stupidly got a parking ticket in Lisbon. There are 4-5 cafes/restaurants in Azoia to suit a range of budgets, each one offering a different experience. (Take a look on Trip Advisor for more information.)

Beautiful Star of Azoiain stunning Portugal

              5 of 5
Although its a bit out of the way a bus runs every hour from a stop no more than five minutes walk away. Stunning beaches nearby. The property itself is comfortable and clean if a little basic but the scenery and tranquillity make up for it. If you want tranquillity you've got it, if you want restaurants and bars go to Cascais, 15 minutes by taxi 25 minutes by bus. Managers were very welcoming and helpful. easily contactable. The locals are very friendly and helpful. Public transport was excellent. 20 minutes by train to Lisbon from Cascais. A fantastic holiday location.

The perfect place to switch off

              5 of 5
We stayed in this lovely little chalet in mid October. Although the weather was a little inclement the chalet kept us comfortable and dry. It is simply kitted out but has everything you need and had me daydreaming of leading a more simple life on a permanent basis. It is a good base for walking and exploring the surrounding area and the castle is is easly accessed by a winding track up the hill to the rear of the propety. With no TV but a good Wi-Fi connection we were able to switch off from the outside world but still keep in touch with family and friends. There is lovely outside decked area with a BBQ and beautiful views for the warmer weather and the most beautiful beaches are a short but robust walk away. This is one of the few places we have stayed that have gone on my return to list.
