Fantastic Rural Home

5 of 5
We've just got back from a great week in Lapanow. This was our first visit to Poland and we all loved it. The house is spacious and really well equipped - couldn't think of anything else it could do with. It's about 2km from the village where there are plenty of shops etc. It's walkable if you don't mind the steep hill back home! There's also a nice lake for a swim/sunbathe if you don't mind a small entry fee. We didn't realise that the housekeeper/caretaker lived in an annexe to the house but even though she could speak English and our Polish was virtually non-existent she was very helpful on arrival and we barely saw her during our stay, except on a couple of occasions when she was tending vegetables in the huge garden - her small dog was a definite hit with us all especially my youngest daughter who she followed faithfully waiting for fussing! All in all a great house in a very quiet area, perfect for visit all the sights in the Krakow area- thank you....

Very good

Unfortunately, the house needs to be updated and renovated. All equipment is dated including black and white tube TV. Wi-Fi is not connecting very well... sometimes not at all. For international tourists it is important to be able to have access to internet and this was a challenge. All furniture is a collection of various pieces from the 90's. We complained about the broken toilet seat to the owner and no action was taken. I realize that we did not book the luxurious house but we were not happ
