Idyllic hideaway with everything you need

                          4 of 5
Prior to our arrival the owner had been very helpful with all our questions and from the moment we drove up the gravel path with fig and olive trees on the side we knew this would be ticking all the boxes for our romantic getaway. Whilst traditional on the outside anything you needed was inside, hot running water, gas and electrics. The owner had also left a few items (pasta, wine, bread) for our arrival which was great as we arrived late. All windows had bug screens allowing you to let air and light in without the the wildlife. Outside you could choose to dine on the vine covered terrace, or gazebo amongst the garden. It should be pointed out that there is no WiFi and inside the villa mobile reception is limited. However this just made it a reason to get away from technology. Location wise the trullo is great, set in the middle of Apulia it was only a short drive to the nearest town (Martina Franca) for the exceptional market plus supermarkets and shops/bars or 30-60 min drives to get to many of the other main towns (visit Ostuni if you get the chance) and beaches. A large fact file built up from previous visitors is available if stuck for ideas...you won't be. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again or recommend this to friends.
