Super lovely place! The photos don't do it justice

We loved this place. The photos really do not do it justice at all. It was perfect for 2 people. The house has a lot of character and charm, and was homely and interesting. It wasn't just a bland apartment aimed at making money from tourists. The house has it's own private outdoor area, as well as a shared pool area (shared with the 2 other houses). In May, we had the pool area to ourselves as there was no one else staying. This was great, but I'm sure it would also be fine if you had to share it. The views are stunning, overlooking the sea and islands, with beautiful sunsets. We saw lizards and bats and fireflies without even leaving home! The location fells very remote, but is actually only a 5 minute walk down a pathway to a local shop and butchers. You could easily have got all your provisions from here (and we largely did). Also Sant' Agata is very nearby too. Massa Lubrense is beautiful. You feel really near the sea from everywhere. There are lots of walks along the coast, and little bays for swimming in. Superb wildflowers at the time of year we visited. You could also easily reach places further afield such as Pompeii. Trips to the Amalfi Coast possible too, but we think that this is a much nicer place to stay as it is quieter and less touristy (we also stayed on the Amalfi Coast, but much preferred it here). All in all, it was an ace place to stay. We wished we had booked it for longer. It is a perfect place to relax, but also have great trips out to places. We'd definitely recommend it to others!

"Property is located in quiet, small village, surrounded by lemon trees. The village has a couple of small restaurants and 2 general grocery shops. The property was clean and well equipped. The owner's wife Marzia was very helpful and kind but never intrusive. There is a bus service which stops only a few metres from the house but the last bus from Sorrento was at 5.30pm otherwise you would have to get a bus which stops about a mile from the house on an upward slope, which is not too much trouble but if you have mobility problems or after a long day sightseeing would be quite tiring. I would highly recommend this house, especially for families."
