Perfect!

Lovely cottage, lovely garden, lovely people! Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday. The children (6yrs, 5yrs, 7month) loved it here and it felt safe and relaxed for them. The place is so well equipped and the owners were very contactable and helpful. The back garden merges into olive groves giving a real feeling of rural spaciousness. Best of all was the location - straight out onto the main north-south road means you can get to so many places. Big Co-op supermarket inside shopping centre just by the Ragusa turn-off just 15 minutes away has all the things you won't find in smaller supermarkets. Follow the same road a few minutes further towards Ragussa, past Macdonalds and there is Eurospin discount supermarket. Closest beaches 35 minutes. Very pretty walks with ruins, caves and streams making swimmable pools at Noto Antica (1 hour) and at Pantalica (1.5 hrs). 'Go-Ape' style tree canopy adventure 'Parcallerio' just outside Buccheri (40 min) is very well run and friendly with a two-way cross-gorge zip-wire. Most amazing roman mosaics in the world in ruined palace just outside pretty 'Piazza Armerina' (1 hour). 2 Hours to cable-car station at Mount Etna which is fun without going to the top, having snow in autumn/winter and a crater you can walk around and in. Beautiful towns of Ragusa, Modica, Scicli (my favourite) and Palazzolo Acreide (with fantastic Greek ruins on edge) all within 40 mins. Noto and Syracuse 1 hour 20 min away. Nearest town of Chiaramonte very pleasant and just 15 mins. We're exhausted from this holiday!
