Where do I start.... This is a beautiful villa for two couples or a couple with a family, I noticed they even had a crib for a baby. The Villa is as exactly in the pictures but better, it's in a quiet spot, close to everything.... It's approx 20 minutes walk to the beach in one direction, 20 minutes walk to Revolver expresso and the shops. 20 minutes walk to Bintang supermarket. Walk up the roadway to the main street, lots of taxis to flag down, doesn't cost more than $3 to most places. Everything you need in a villa, bed was comfortable, pool was cool, colder than most pools I've used, but you know what.... when the weather is stinking hot... you need a cool pool (cause i have been in some that are like taking a warm bath) Turn left at the top of the alleyway, turn left... first bar you come to has some very cheap meals and cheap cold Bintang, even the store next door only 1900 rupiah equiv to $1.90 for a beer from the lil store. They to a roast pork on Sundays, also very nice. If you take a right at the top of the alleyway, walk around the corner, cross the road and take a first left, not sure on the name of the street, but there's a little coffee cabin, omg... they do the best meals and dirt cheap, it's a quaint little place to eat breakfast lunch or dinner, the owner is a lovely man... he said to us...he has the best mia goreng, if not, we have it for free.... lol.... yeah it was yummeee.. It's also a short cut through to the shops, and the road which Frankenstein lab is stationed. also lots of nice eateries, and a short cut to the beach... follow the road past the coffee cabin bare right... at the end of the alley do a right to take you to the beach. There is no breakfast included in this villa, but the villa is so reasonable, it's worth eating out or make your own. We took 2 loaves of bread, a kilo pkt of bacon and a tub of margarine, plus 1kg of shredded cheese, crackers and mixed cheeses and cracker biscuits.... unlike Australia... you are allowed to bring food stuff in. (it helped having a hard suitcase, so bread didn't get squashed) I also brought my own coffee and milk We left our blow up floating sunbed... so other visitors will get the pleasure of using it. Enjoy your stay.

Awsome, Awsome, Awsome!!!

Ever since I can remember, Bali has been on my destination bucket list. Because of that, I combed site after site until I came across Villa Annecy on Homaway.com. As my group’s Travel Planner, it was important to me to find a villa that spoke to luxury, fostered togetherness, but also accommodated the traveler whom valued independence and privacy. Villa Annecey provided us with everything I expected and more. Upon arrival in Bali, we were met at the airport by Warung. Warung is the villa’s personal driver. He was as friendly as he was patient by happily waiting for the four of us to collect our bags. After getting settled in his van, he gave all of us a cold bottle of water and cool hand cloth. We appreciated his gesture and immediately felt better as it was hot and humid that morning. Driving through the bustling downtown city of Seminyak, we made a left turn down a somewhat winding and narrow street. Within a few minutes, we were there, our home away from home for the next 6 days. Villa Annecey was nestled at the end the street among a few of other villas. As Warung collected our luggage, the glass front door opened and we were a greeted by Made, the House Manager. When we stepped over the threshold, our mouths dropped in awe and wonderment. I breathed a sigh of relief because, once again, I found my group a magnificent place to stay. The villa was perfect! The pictures on the site do not do it justice. As we continued our way through the house, Made and the rest of the staff presented us with a refreshing cocktail. We sipped as she showed us around, each room as gorgeous as the next. The bathrooms adorned luxurious oversized stone bathtubs, which immediately looked like a fabulous way to end upcoming days of long hours of touring. After the house tour, we changed into our swimsuits and jumped in the pool, which was the center point of the grounds. After a brief swim, our senses were delighted with a traditionally prepared Balinese meal. The good food continued as every morning we were met with eggs (made to our individual liking), pancakes, fruit, cereal, orange juice and coffee. From the delicious food to the impeccable service, I will definitely be back!! The staff took care of arranging in house massages as well as a couple of our tours. Thank you for making my Bali experience a memorable one! I will be back with more travelers in the near future. Kisha Reynolds Owner Drink That Eat This Tours & Travel United States, Philadelphia, PA
