What a find! An amazing property and great owner.

The chateau is incredible - so hard to describe in words. Huge, beautiful, rustic palatial rooms, acres of land, a pool and the entire castle all to ourselves! Renaud, the owner, was really easy to communicate with from the start and didn't disappoint when we met. He was very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed and made sure to pop in when passing to say hi. He is so knowledgeable about the property/village, it's history and it's so interesting to see his ancestors' portraits in the house. So nice to be out in the countryside with no one to disturb. We had BBQs into the early hours and each evening we sat in a different part of the grounds - back garden area, pool area, courtyard area. We wish we could have stayed longer to make the most of every area and room :-) It just so happened that there was a local music event in the village when we stayed so we got to see all sorts of bands and meet many of the locals who were all so friendly. We also got to eat in the Auberge which served really nice local food. This was absolutely ideal for our party of 8. Would highly recommend - we had such a fantiastic stay here!

                    Loved Chateau Auribail

                    5 of 5
Chateau Auribail is an amazing place - beautiful house, lovely spacious grounds, great atmosphere, and very peaceful. The house is really well equipped, with lots of space for big groups of people. David and Ilhame made us feel really welcome, with lots of tips before we arrived, and were lovely when we met them at the beginning and end of our stay. We'll be back!
