            Idyllic Setting

            5 of 5
Had a second stay here from May to June 2016 and it was as good as our first last year. The chalet is in the grounds of the owner's property, and there is also a seperate apartment, but it is very private and not overlooked. The chalet is very roomy and well equipped (a cool box and towels are also provided for days out/trips to the beach). Jane and Clive are very friendly owners and nothing is too much trouble for them. A very comprehensive welcome pack is provided and will set you up before a shopping trip to Lidl or Mercadona which is just down the hill in Adeje. The chalet is up a hill and although it is walkable down to Adeje I would hesitate to recommend the walk back, especially with shopping and in heat. We feel a car is necessary for most people for getting to the beach and visiting various sights. There is wifi in the property and 5/6 English channels on the tv. All in all, we would highly recommend this property - having a hot tub at night with a glass of wine and the lights along the coast below you, is quite magical!

            A very pleasant stay

We are a couple and we stayed in the property for a week in June. Before our arrival the managers were very prompt and helpful in answering any questions we had. They were also very flexible on our arrival arrangements and even thoughtfully got us a few supplies from the supermarket as we were late to arrive. The property was immaculately clean and tidy with a fully equipped kitchen for even the largest of families, a great view from the balcony of the beach, plenty of linen and towels, a good sized TV (although we didn't use it) and two bathrooms. There is a large supermaket less than 5 minutes drive away in Icod de los Vinos and the lovely black sand beach less than 2 minutes walk away. Puerto de la Cruz is about half an hour's drive away for the Loro Parque, etc. The neighbourhood is quiet and tidy, with plenty of parking nearby, although it does get busy on the weekends when the locals come to visit the beach. There are several local restaurants, which were friendly and very reasonably priced. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone considering the area. Note that we hired a car and this is somewhat of a necessity due to the infrequent buses. Recommended.
