                    Very Enjoyable Stay

                    5 of 5
We returned earlier this week from a 10 night stay at this little cottage and had a lovely holiday. The cottage is newly built and although not far at all from the main road which runs from Oistins to St Lawrence Gap, is remarkably quiet and in a pleasant residential area. Local people who walked past would wave or speak to us if we were sitting on the veranda and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was comfortable and roomier than we had imagined from the pictures. Everything was clean and modern. The kitchen was very well supplied with pots, pans and utensils and we enjoyed having the opportunity to cook in a few times Although airconditioning was available in the bedroom we didn't use it as the ceiling fan cooled us down enough. We were fortunate to have hired a car for a week which gave us the flexibility to explore the island at our leisure (can definitely recommend a vist to Hunte's Gardens and the Foursquare distillery was also interesting) but using the buses for the first couple of days was also fun and it would be perfectly possible to have an enjoyable stay without the use of a car. Lin, the owner of the property, could not have been more accommodating. This is a fairly new venture for her and she is constantly thinking about how she can make improvements. Currently, a little building is being built to the rear of the property (any work was done when we were out so as not to disturb us) which will house a washing machine for sole use of guests. Lin is also going to have a fence erected between her house and the cottage to give even more privacy. She has planted some beautiful bushes around the property too which will also enhance the surroundings. For any independent traveller for whom a sea view is not a 'must', this cottage is a comfortable and affordable option. Thank you Lin!

                    BRILLIANT.

                    5 of 5
My wife and I arrived on the 10th August and met with Charles (the Owner ) Who is a lovely man. He and his family were off on their own Holiday the next day but showed us around and answered all question. There was not many as he supplies a welcome pack that is full of all the necessary info. I must say that the Photos do not do the property Justice, everything is lovely. Superb Air conditioning that is very quiet, Lovely bathroom, and Kitchen. Then you go outside to a superb swimming pool and what we called a Tropical garden. Firstly 3 lovely Turtles that wander around ( feed them Lettuce and they will visit everyday ) a adorable super friendly Jack Russell dog called Susie. Small Salamander type animals which are very quick on the outside walls and funny to watch trying to catch any passing insect. The pool was very refreshing and NEVER Cold, always clean and hard to leave once in. The local Boardwalk which runs alongside the beach leading to bars and Restraunts etc is only a 5 Min walk away. Nearby is a adorable beach which is open to all inside the Coconut Court Hotel, this beach has a man made reef which is full of tropical fish that are easy to see just standing in the crystal clear water. Local Restraunts that I would reccomend are 1) NARU this serves a mix of Sushi and Asian food and is superb, ( Went there twice ). Situated right on the Beach about 10 Mins walk from the cottage. 2) Tapas, just down from Naru along the Boardwalk also. This area is NOT affected by the Seaweed problem that they are having further up the coast. We hired a car but found that apart from trips to the Supermarket and the beach at Coconut court we did not need it. Charles and Maria are lovely hosts and even took time out to make lovely Tapas and snacks and drinks for us on our last night. They live next door but leave you completely alone unless you want help with anything. They have 2 very polite children Benjamin and Marrianna who you hardly hear at all. Nothing but praise for this rental property that incidently also supply free Wi-Fi and Netflix for all staying. Totally brilliant Veranda/Patio to have breakfast or evening meal and just chill. Pretty much all we did for 2 weeks before heading back ( Sadly ) to work. Thanks again Charles and Maria see you again.

                    Beautiful Little Hideaway

                    5 of 5
It is very hard for us to improve on the previous comments. My grandaughter and I have just returned after 2 weeks on Barbados during which she had her 22nd birthday. This was the first time we have stayed in private accommodation rather than a hotel. From the initial enquiry to making the deposit Lorna was extremely helpful and kept us right step by step. The property was everything we had hoped for and more. It was clean, bright, very modern and had everything required for our stay. The cottage is set in beautiful gardens carefully tended by our hosts Lorna and Robert. We even had the use of a mobile phone during out stay. Colleen the maid ensured we had clean towels and linen and was on hand for a chat. Lorna and Robert are professional couple who remained quietly in the background, but on hand or a phone call away if we needed to contact them. They even arranged a taxi to pick us up and return us to the airport on departure. The cottage is situated only 2 minutes away from Accra Beach and various restaurants to suit all tastes, a bank and supermarkets. We had the choice of being in the thick of the action (Oistins, The Gap or Bridgetown) are only a short distance in either direction, or lazy, relaxing days at the pool. A car is not necessary for getting about. In short we would thoroughly recommend Cherry Garden Cottage and apartment without hesitation, We cannot thank Lorna and Robert enough for their kindness during our stay and we hope to return next year. We would have not hesitation in recommending Cherry Garden Cottage and Apartment. Joan and Michele-Scotland
