Lovely old part of Sarre with an easy drive to the gondola to access the Pila ski slopes. The view over the rooftops to the mountains is stunning. Claudia is a lovely, welcoming, friendly owner who left us a delicious homemade cake and helped us with our bags from the parking area. The apartment is well laid out and beautifully clean, and was great for 4 adults and 2 children. People with mobility problems should be aware of the steep but short walk on uneven paths along the quaint street to get to the apartment - others will love stepping back in time. We would definitely recommend this.

Our host Elena was lovely and very helpful. The property was very recently converted and we had the impression we were some of her first guests. The property was very comfortable and warm with no need to fire up the wood pellet stove in the living room. The conversion has been very tastefully done incorporating old pieces of the original farm buildings. The owners have a beautiful spa in the lowest level of the building that we were able to use on one occasion. it too is very new with a couple of teething problems which I have every confidence will be resolved promptly. The WiFi and internet access work well. The induction hob takes getting used to and we couldn't get some of the pots to work while other similar pots functioned normally. Finding your way to the property the fist couple of times can prove tricky! There is another small area called Pleod which is signposted less than a kilometre away from the property. Use the latitude and longitude coordinates provided by the owner. Getting to the centre of town or the gondola station is easier than finding your way back. Patience and trial & error leads to success. Access from the parking area to the property requires negotiating a very steep tarmac hairpin bend and a few steps into the house.
