I would definitely recommend this property. It’s on a small Greek island with loads of character not ruined by tourism and seeming to retain its authenticity. The villa is beautifully done and spacious with lots of outside terrace areas and great for watching the sunset.
It’s in the top of the island in the village of Plaka which is only small and quiet but enough restaurants and bars to keep you busy and small shops, and there are two other Villages with lots of bars and tavernas only ten minutes walk away, particularly Trypiti which is just down the road and full of tavernas and great people; we went to the local village party in the square and danced with the locals who kept giving us wine, beer and souvlaki!
I would recommend a car, as there are lots of beaches nearby, but the island is very hilly. You can walk down to Klima beach & fishermen’s huts past the Ancient theatre & catacombs but it’s a steep walk back.
Very confortable and quiet house with a lovely countryside feeling and views , as well as a nice sea view from the balcony . The hosts are welcoming friendly and helpful. Excellent position to reach the best beaches in Milos. We had a great time.
