This property is ideally located in the quiet village of Dersingham adjacent to the Sandringham estate.
Nearby attractions include the quiet beaches of Heacham and Hunstanton, and the ancient town of King's Lynn which are all only a few minutes drive away.
We especially enjoyed our visits to Great Bircham Windmill and Norfolk Lavendar. The nearby village of Snettisham is great for those who like to dine out. The Rose and Crown offers excellent pub meals while the Old Bakery is a must for those who enjoy fine dining.
The village of Dersingham has two pubs that are only a five minute walk from the property. Though I only visited one (the Feathers) I can highly recommend it: a good selection of beers and gins and good food, as well as being Prince William's local of choice in his student days.
There is also an excellent chippy just two minutes walk from the cottage and a well-stocked Co-op less than two minutes drive/ten minutes walk away.
The clean and well-equipped cottage is a relaxing place to stay with a rustic charm to it that is enhanced by the lovely garden and patio area. All in all it proved an excellent base for a thoroughly enjoyable family stay.
The property is set in a good location for the Broads and coast.
We found the property to be exactly as it was described and included everything you would want for a relaxing stay.
The property is secluded in the owners garden and is private. Terence and Annette welcomes us and were there if we needed them. Made use of the hot tub which was a great touch.
