  • A wonderful relaxing holiday in a lovely villa with glorious views across to the sea

We have a had a glorious week's break from the Winter at home in this lovely villa, recently redecorated and furnished to a high standard. It is light and comfortable and feels spacious and airy with the doors open to the verandah all day long, letting in the glorious views. It is very well appointed and has everything you need in the kitchen. The beautiful verandah was the best place to be for us, watching the skies clear in the morning, the sun go down at night, or dozing after lunch in the shade - bliss! We felt truly transported to another world. In just a week, we barely had begun to enjoy everything St Lucia has to offer but we had some great trips out exploring the island. We loved Pigeon Island, Smugglers Cove and Gros Islet locally and there is a great choice of places to eat. Soufriere in the south of the island is a lovely place to visit with chocolate plantations at Fond Doux and Hotel Chocolat, The Botanical Gardens and Sulphur Springs. There are many lovely towns, villages and beaches along the way which are on our list to visit the next time we come. Courtesy of lovely Marietta, the villa was kept spotless and we were able to sample local cooking at its best. Altogether, a wonderful holiday and we would love to return sometime.
