This apartment has loads of space, the balcony has a relaxing view of the turn of the century villas of Eisenach. It's only a short walk to the town centre and a lovely hike (down) from Wartburg castle. In all, it was the highlight of a 2 week stay in Germany, compared to a variety of apartments we stayed in.
We spent three nights in Wartburgblick, which lives up to its name - the castle overlooks the town and is easily visible from the windows. The holiday house (on two floors) is part of a larger property which is currently being worked on. There's a steep path up to the house which could cause problems to some people. However, the holiday home itself is worth the climb and appears to have been only recently renovated. Everything was in immaculate condition, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable sitting room, excellent bedrooms and bathroom. We felt very much at home, and particularly enjoyed the personal touches left by our hosts, such as jigsaw puzzles, as well as the useful local information.
