We really enjoyed our stay in Sarzana, the house was spotless & perfect for a couple. We had breakfast most mornings in the outdoor kitchen, before heading out for the day. The house was ideal for us, because we don't like to stay anywhere too 'touristy'-but like to be able to visit all the main sights & towns in the area. The train station is a few minutes away & within 10 minutes you are in the town centre. Lots of great restaurants,(you will not go hungry!!) cafes, & lovely little shops.
Marco & all his family were very welcoming, great hosts.
(Beyond the garden walls there are a couple of tall buildings, so no open views- don't let that put you off, it's a great spot)
The owner was very friendly and kind offering us vegetables from his garden. We used herbs from the villa garden for our evening bbq.
The surrounding area was beautiful and we were very lucky to have woken up to this beautiful view for a week. The pool was an added bonus In the warm weather. There was so much to do and see including the caves which was absolutely fantastic. Great for adults and kids. The beach at Forte Dei Marmi was lovely and the sea was warm. The market was fab too.
The local people were so friendly and happy to see us it was lovely meetingbso many new people.
Lorraine was extremely helpful which made the booking run smoothly.
I will definitely recommend Lorraine’s services and the villa to my friends
