This was an excellent choice. The apartment has 1 full-height double bedroom plus 2 twin bedrooms with sloping ceilings in the eaves (much enjoyed by children), plus an open-plan kitchen/dining room/lounge (with couch-beds), a bathroom with toilet/shower, another toilet, and another bathroom with a bathtub. It's warm. It's on the top floor with lovely views; the ski locker is directly beneath on the ground floor with proper ski-to-door facilities, or one can walk up and take lifts through the interlinked apartment blocks to get to the village, under cover (for shopping/restaurants or some of the ski school meeting places -- the "lower" Belle Plagne meeting point for the ESF). Recycling bins are in a room conveniently adjacent to the front door. We pre-booked and paid on arrival for linen and parking; for parking one can (a) park very close to the front door with a free 1-hour ticket from the ticket machine, unload, and then (b) move the car to the private underground garage using the owner's magnetic access card. There's a hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, fridge/freezer, TV, and (a little variably) wi-fi. The owner was courteous and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.
The property is situated in the hamlet of Les Charmettes, which is the furthest the free La Plagne shuttle bus extends down the valley. The hourly bus takes 20 mins to get to Plagne Centre and runs from early in the morning to just before midnight. So if you don't want to stay in resort but do want easy access to the slopes, this charming apartment more than fits the bill. Our hostess was waiting for us on arrival & was helpful throughout our stay. The apartment is of a very good size for 2 people with all amenities you would expect. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would not hesitate to recommend the property to others.
