My husband, myself, my sister and her husband all stayed for 3 weeks at the Stelida Villa in Naxos, Greece. We were impressed by not only the villa, but the view of the Aegean Sea from the villa. We were a 20 minute walk to the small village and and the beach went for miles. We were 5 or 6 miles from Naxos. We went for 2 bus tours, a Greek cooking class, an all day sailing adventure and 1 day in Mykonos and 1 day in Santorini. We rented ATV's and explored the Island and all it's hidden treasures. We'd go back in a heartbeat!
We loved the house, especially the view from the top terrace, it was magical! The house was clean, brand new and fully accessorized. We had some problem with the water though. The island is facing a shortage in water and sometime reduces its pressure. Being the higher house around that area, the water cannot make it with so little pressure and a couple of nights we couldn't take a shower (not a very nice feeling..). Leslie tried her best to help us and she installed a tank and new pump to help with the issue. I personally think this problem should have been addressed before, since it seems recurrent...but, besides that, we had a great time in the house and in the island.
