Absolutely as advertised. Great views to both front and back of property. A great shame that there are not more hostelrys close by. We had intended to go to the Cheeky Pig in Kentown but having arrived at 6pm on a Friday found them shut!!!
Me and my partner stayed at Sally's Cottage end of April .
She didn't know where am I taking her it was a wee surprise .From the moment we walked in we fell in love .The place was so cosy and cute and unique .
Mr Ray arrived soon to greet us ,he was very nice and he even lights up the fireplace for us. We woken up Sunday morning to hee - haw of four Donkeys braying which I find it awesome :) Honestly there is everything you need if you want to peaceful weekend or even week away to relax . It was close to Ballina town and beautiful Lough Conn with overview on Nephin Mountain provides a wonderful backdrop to the villages all around. We also made a trip to Achill Island and Downpatrick Head which is spectacular and must see ! For someone who love fishing that's the place to be , famous for Salmon and Trout .People I highly recommend Mr Treynor cottages to stay and we will definitely be back in near future :)
