First time in Bed-Stu in Brooklyn and the house was very nice. There were three bedrooms, which we were looking for and this is quite tricky to get, so tick all the boxes. There were no issues apart from a small water leak from the skylight, which the owner will get repaired at some point. In old property, this can happen, as I have an old property myself. The only other things, is there is no blinds in the bedroom from the lounge, this did not affect me but might other people. I had a great time in New York and hope to return in year time, to finish exploring the city.
We stayed at Chauncey House for 5 nights for a girly getaway. It was our first time in New York and we loved the Brooklyn neighbourhood. Some great places to eat brunch nearby (recommend Saraghina and Brunswick) and the subway very close- 2 min walk away.
The flat has everything you need and the touch key pad easy to use to come and go. Lovely beautifully made beds to come back and sink into after a long day sightseeing/shopping and quality fluffy towels.
Nina and Marlen were great at communicating at each stage. The deposit was paid back within days of me coming home.
There is a house being built next door so there was some noise in the morning from the builders, but we were getting up early to make the most of the day-so would just say bring earplugs if you like a lie in and you will be fine-this shouldn't be a reason not to stay, just through would mention.
Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would stay here again. Thank you Nina and Marlen!
