We had a brilliant time at this lovely house. Great big pool and easy walk to the beach which was perfect for our four year olds to paddle in. There are lots of restaurants and cafes around - Bliss was our favourite for coffee and breakfast which is probably the closest. Also easy walk to St Lawrence gap where there are lots of restaurants and bars for people who want a bit more nightlife. We drove to Oistins a few times (5 mins or so away) and had great fish.
I would highly recommend this house - in a quiet residential area. Teresa was really helpful with lots of information and recommendations.
We booked this property because we wanted something "beachfront" and it is but Wow! from the minute we stepped inside we were blown away! The pictures don't do it justice at all. Not only is is beautifully ans tastefully decorated, it is immaculately clean as well! Elaine goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need to make it a perfect stay and Shirley not only keeps the place clean, but she is a fantastic cook and great value for money! Barry the gardener brought us delicious mango's, fresh coconut water and even a bread fruit which he was going to roast on the beach for us but we ran out of time :(
The supermarket (Jordans) is across the road, the bus stop is 10 yards away, there is a restaurant and beach bar, Il Tempio ( happy hour, 2 for 1 from 4-6) about 50 yards away, what more could you ask for?
Answer = to never have to leave
This was our 5th time in Barbados and have rented every time, but this property is worth every single penny. It is a more "local" than "tourist" area yet caters for everything a tourist could want. I am sitting here on the veranda watching the morning tide crashing on the beach (25 yards away), hummingbirds in the trees feeling very sad to have to leave. Thank you Elaine & Michael for giving us the opportunity to live a dream in your beautiful house. I will recommend to anyone.....
