I need to first put this in context; we had just spent four weeks wandering and walking through various highly rated Tuscan towns. All of the places we stayed were boutique and beautifully representative of the area. By the time we arrived in Arezzo we just wanted somewhere to live for three weeks - and this place was perfect.
The appartment is on Corso Italia and just around the corner from Piazze Grande, this puts you in the best part of town with everything at your door step. Corsa Italia is a walking street and just the place to be.
The apartment is on the fifth floor, however there is a lift to floor four, making access quite easy. There are large windows on three sides which provide plenty of light, and most importantly a small verandah with double doors that open on to it. Great light and air flow, and when you need to, they all have louvres.
The rooms are all a generous size, with high ceilings, this is really a place that you can settle in to and spend som time enjoying, the area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four burner stove and oven so you can cook at home if you need to.
The owner was very easy to deal with and very helpful.
This place provided us with the perfect place to unwind, relax and start to get the feel for a real Italian town.
