We loved the bungalow from the minute we opened the door. The kitchen had really everything needed and even more. The bed was so confortable, just as the chairs and sunloungers on the patio. The cleaning lady did a good job twice a week and the gardner watered the plants once a week. And there is the cause that we missed a table and chairs inside. When watering the plants the gardner wahed the complete patio floor and we could not use the patio since it took hours to dry up. We stayed at Casas del Sol already 12th times and 28B is one of the best equipped bungalow. Meggy

  • Fantastic location, both in resort and on Casas del Sol development

We spent 4 weeks in 14A from 4th November. We were absolutely delighted with our choice of location as we did not wish to hire a car. There is everything you need only a short walk from the Villa and we never got bored with our walks along the seafront in both directions. Restaurants are in abundance - we were spoilt for choice and didn't have one poor meal. The ferry port is just across the road from the Villa and we spent a day on Feurtuventura. The ferry crossing was both reasonably priced and efficient. The pool area at Casas is superb. It was never busy - everyone respected each other's space and it was exceptionally quiet at all times. The villa itself was lovely with plenty of outside space for the two of us and whilst it got the sunshine most of the day, you could always find a bit of shade. It was also very private which we liked. The space inside was ample for us and we had a bathroom each which worked really well. The 2 double bedrooms are very well equipped with loads of wardrobe space and drawers The shower room is obviously new (ish) and it was lovely however, we felt the en-suite bathroom was in need of updating. On a number of occasions during the night we heard a dripping noise coming from the bathroom and realised it was condensation dripping from the roof light. Perhaps better extraction would solve this problem as we also had a little bit of damp appear on the bedroom wall. The lounge area is very comfortable and we were happy that we could get UK radio and TV. The kitchen area works well and there is every conceivable pan/utensil etc that you will ever need and more. Felt that the kitchen needed a bit of TLC in places - some of the cupboard doors were loose and the toaster a little rusty. Kettle gave up the ghost whilst we were there but the office responded very quickly and replaced it with a new one. We didn't use the BBQ but observed that in our opinion it was not fit for use. We had problems with the safe not working when we first arrived. Unfortunately this took about 9 days to resolve which was inconvenient. A new safe was fitted whilst we were there. Having said that the Villa appears secure with iron fretting at all windows, except large patio doors. One thing that we were not prepared for was the new Cruise terminal that is being built.opposite the complex. Depending on the wind direction the work could be heard but it wouldn't put us off visiting again. Overall lovely Villa - great location
