A charming cottage not too far from Minehead and the supermarkets. Just the job for our fortnight stay. The bottle of wine and biscuits at arrival were very welcoming thank you. Other things made it welcoming too such as the milk in the fridge, some tea, sugar and coffee, towels and a few toilet rolls. The cottage seemed equipped with everything that we needed for our stay although we didn't need to use the oven. The microwave was very handy also. The vacuum cleaner and dust pan were useful to get rid of a few crumbs which we generated. It was good to have a dvd player. The grandchildren were able to watch a few videos and there was some Lego for them to play with. It was also good to have a parking space. The grandchildren found the single beds very comfortable and slept well. Both bedrooms were nice. There was enough wardrobe and drawer space. The area was quiet. The post office was near. We sent postcards from the post box one day and they arrived the next. However, and this is not a major criticism, we prefer two pillows rather than one. We solved the problem as the grandchildren each had two pillows so we borrowed one from each of them. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and could have done with another week. We would certainly recommend the holiday cottage.

Met the owner Sian on arrival and made to feel welcome, Some nice touches that helped us settle in. The accommodation was lovely and bed comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. The cottage was clean and well maintained. The garden had good views of the surrounding countryside and we saw a lot of wildlife. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends and indeed it was through a friends recommendation that we discovered it.
