We had a wonderful one month stay at Casa Rosi in Oct/Nov. It had all the amenities we needed, very comfortable beds and a large shower. The living room with the two convertible single beds can be used as a separate second bedroom. The local Ali supermarket had a good selection of cooked meals to re-heat in the micro and a variety of foods to try. There are some very good restaurants nearby (History and Bakkla). Just outside we have the bus to Venice and the tram or 15 min. walk to Mestre station. To be able to go to the Station to catch the 8:24 (the cheapest fare and fast train) to Padua, Vicenza or Verona made it possible for us to visit so many places. Also nearby is Bus 53 that we used to see all the Villas along the Brenta Canal all the way to Padua and Bus 18 to the Villa Malcontenta. One tip is to go up the Campanile at S. Giorgio Maggiore for a fabulous view of Venice without the queues you will get at San Marco. Most of all we want to say a big million grazie to Patrizia and Franco for their kindness and warm welcome that made our stay at Casa Rosi one that we will always remember.

We are a middle aged couple who stayed here for one week. This is a beautiful apartment in a really great location, literally five minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge. The apartment is in a relatively quiet street but close to the busier streets that are full of restaurants and shops etc. Just round the corner is Osteria al Portego a must try if you love great food, but book the day before its very busy with locals. Georgio meet us at Rialto and was very helpful with information and details etc. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything needed for two people to have a very comfortable stay including full kitchen. It overlooks a canal and little bridge so you can watch as the gondolas negotiate the bridge. We'll be staying here again next time we visit Venice I hope.
