We had a wonderful stay at Coco Garden Villa. Our family of 9 ranged in age from 60+ to 6 years old. We all agreed the best part of the villa was the pool and patio area. The pool and surrounding area are beautiful and well-maintained. The kids loved the slide and the adults loved the hot tub. The home is very large, with plenty of space. It has an open floor plan which easily flows from the dining room, to the kitchen and into the first sitting room. All 9 of us were able to spend time together in the kitchen and sitting areas. The dining room table fit all of us very comfortably. There was additional seating at the kitchen bar which is directly next to the dining table. The interior of the kitchen is very spacious with plenty of countertop space to prepare family meals. The open layout made it very easy to prepare meals and spend time with family at the same time. Bedrooms and bathrooms were plentiful. It was very nice to be able to retreat to a nice, big bedroom and private bathroom after a long day of visiting the beach or exploring the island. The home is also very clean. As mentioned in the listing, cleaning service was provided 2 or 3 times during our 7-day stay. On one particular morning, we left clothes in the dryer before we headed out for the day. When we returned that afternoon, the cleaning staff had folded our laundry! That was a very nice surprise and much appreciated. We kept doors and windows open when we were home and awake. During these times, we were mainly in the kitchen and sitting area. We were comfortable with the help of the island's continuous breeze and a couple of floor fans (and it was the middle of July!). The only thing to note is the flies can be really bad. At night, we turned on the air conditioners in each of our bedrooms. (My husband and I kept our air conditioner set at 75-76 each night and we were very comfortable.) We did leave a kitchen window open one evening. A bird flew in during the night and helped himself to our Dunkin Donuts bag. Needless to say, we didn't have donuts for breakfast that morning and we didn't leave any windows open at night after that. : ) The home is located on a busy road, but the neighborhood felt safe. In fact, the whole island felt safe to our family. Everyone we encountered on the island was friendly and welcoming. In addition, the house is centrally located and just a short drive to the most popular beaches, shopping and dining. Martin was always just a phone call away and...
