  • Lovely house, great village
    5 of 5

We spent a long weekend at the house and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was warm and cosy and the welcome pack was the best we’ve ever had - milk, eggs, bacon, fresh bread and welsh cakes as well as tea and coffee. The house is very comfortably furnished and well appointed. The hot tub is a bonus. The village is great with its impressive castle and lovely views. There is loads in the village, we used the chip shop and the local store, both of which were very friendly. We also had a lovely meal at the Brown’s Hotel. We would thoroughly recommend this house and would love to visit again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • Spacious, comfy, clean and great fun!

This house is a great base for exploring a stunning region with lots to do literally on the doorstep. The house itself is really big and light, immaculate on arrival and comfy beds with my favourite white bed linens so that won me over! The owners are so helpful and Lynda who is the housekeeper was great at checkin giving us lots of useful info. The garden is really big and our dogs could roam freely outside, and when we had a day out the recommended dog sitter came and collected them, groomed them and walked them and looked after them for the day! The kitchen had everything we needed and we had some lovely family times eating meals round the big table. The hot tub was such a plus, we used it a lot and the kids loved the games room and it kept them occupied a bit too. Kidwelly Castle over the road is stunning and its a wonderful 20 min walk round it. there is a great cafe/ farm shop 5 mins away with lakes and a play area too and we went there. There is a local pub and shop a couple of mins away and Kidwelly town is cute and maybe a 10 minute walk. Overall we loved this place and will be back.
