Excellent cottage and literally 2 mins to the sea or shops. Quiet location, beach promenade is great for a long walk. Cottage furnished beautifully and the 2 en suite rooms (Starfish Cottage) worked really well. Will be back.

We had a wonderful stay here. When we arrived we found a lovely card, biscuits, chocolates and plenty of tea and coffee waiting for us which was a lovely suprise. The place was very clean and tidy and very welcoming. The decor was lovely had a nice cottage feel to it. We stayed with our two teenage children and our dog. There was plenty of room for all of us. All the beds were very comfy, so much so that the kids wanted to take them home! The outside garden and patio area was lovely with a great view. It was fully enclosed so we didn't need to worry about the dog escaping and he could potter around whenever he wanted. The kitchen facilities were really good (probably better than ours at home) they had everything you could possibly need to make sure you could cook or bake whatever you wanted. The bathroom was lovely with a selection of soaps to use if we wanted to. The only small thing in the whole place which could be improved was to install a more powerful shower as the existing one was a bit weak, but the bath was lovely and made up for that. The place was ideally located and we did many walks from the cottage along the cost and the river otter. We had a lovely meal at the local pub in the village which we thought was quite reasonable in price. Although we didn't get to meet Claire, the communication was brilliant, from directions to the property to the house rules and we felt very welcome right from the beginning. We would recommend Claire and her property to everyone looking for a warm welcoming place to get away from it all. It was ideal and would love to come back again sometime.
