  • Lovely rural retreat amongst the vines

Once you’ve got over the single track road experience, you find the gite (part of the owners property) is well equipped for self catering. The bed is fine if you like a soft mattress. Lovely to sit there and watch the sun set with a glass of Henri’s wine. Excellent things to do in the area or to just chill and watch them pick grapes or use the shared pool. If you like your fresh bread in the morning that is a bit of a trek as the nearest boulangerie has shut - a shame.

Beautiful place, lovely spotless cottage attached to superb chateau in acres of countryside and brilliant view. With a car (essential) there are many great places to visit. Well appointed and comfortable inside. The place was full of little details that made it feel strangely like home from home. The pool was excellent too. The family have put much work into making it a top quality place to stay.
