  • Relaxing Holiday with Amazing Hosts
    5 of 5

My wife, two small dogs booked this villla for two weeks over the summer. The villa was lovely and spacious, very comfortable. The pool area was lovely with lots of various seating areas to relax and dine in. The dogs enjoyed their stay, able to run around comfortably and they had plenty of shaded areas if needed. Not that we used it much but there are some English television channels available, which is nice when you getting ready to go out. Parking is not problem, plenty of room for the largest of cars. The hosts are amazing, such lovely people, they explained everything so well, their meet and greet was spot on. They left us well alone and we also enjoyed their company when they were around, they keep a low profile which is good but are on hand if you need anything. You couldn’t ask for better hosts anywhere, great characters and very knowledgeable about all the areas to list. It’s a small walk to the town, which boasts some of the best restaurants you’ll ever eat in, quality food and not expensive, the owners and staff make you feel very welcomed. You will enjoy the nights out their for sure. There are plenty of places to walk, amazing scenery. You couldn’t wish for a more beautiful place to vist in the countryside. I would definitely book again in the future. The peacefulness of the area and villa made me so relaxed after a long hard year working. Thank you Joanne and Lenny for everything and my birthday card. We hope to see you again soon. Regards Roberto & Larraine Rascal & Minnie X

  • A Wonderful cottage in the heart of the forest with pool and patio
    5 of 5

We have just arrived back from 2 weeks staying in this idyllic cottage. The photos that have been posted don't do it justice! The owner Bruno and his father Christoph are very accommodating and are available to answer any questions. With regards to The pool, it is available to use between the hours of 11am and 8pm . And whenever we wanted to go in it we were left in peace but we wouldn't have minded if the owners wànted to use it too. The cottage is fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and oven. The only negative I would say is that there should be a bug net at the front door as the mosquitoes are lethal and because of this we had to keep the door shut at all times otherwise they would get in, which they did and 3 bottles of jungle formula later and still got bitten! There is a net at the bedroom window and bathroom window too. The town is a 20 minute walk down hill which we walked on a number of occasions, but take a torch if walking back at night as is pitch black! It has lovely restaurants and bars, a lovely town square with a fresh water fountain which apparently turns to wine on the 15th August for one day! and a little supermarket but the nearest big supermarket is in Pierrefue which is only 10 minute drive away. Bruno has a lovely Rhodesian Ridgeback dog called Nimba who after a couple of barks and tentative sniffs came to see us almost every day . He is absolutely gorgeous. So, thank you Bruno for a lovely memorable break and maybe see you again one day!:Heide and Kevin
