We wanted to stay a couple of nights near Penzance to visit St Michaels Mount after our stay on the Scillys. The cottage is tucked away and was very quiet parking outside the front door.Easy 5 min drive to Penzance with a wide choice of food outlets.Cottage was comfortable and warm with a full kitchen if you wanted to eat in. We contacted the owner a couple of times and always had a very fast response. A very pleasant stay and would book again if we return to Penzance.

We stayed at the Old Dairy after a recommendation from a friend, and we were not disappointed! Kate and Kevin were such lovely hosts, and made sure the accommodation had everything we needed for our mini holiday. The cottage is set within the grounds of their farm, with chickens, ducks and a pig nearby which provided no end of excitement for our toddler. Inside, the cottage is equipped with everything you'd need for a break with a toddler and/or baby, including stair gate, high chair, black out blind, travel cot, kid-friendly dishes/cutlery, and toys!! The bedrooms were lovely and quiet, so everyone was able to sleep well before our daytime adventures. We were within easy access to everything we'd hoped to visit during our stay, including Porthcurno Beach, Kynance Cove, St Michael's Mount, Falmouth and Porthleven. We will absolutely be staying at the Old Dairy again - somehow Kate and Kevin have truly taken the stress out of travelling with a toddler and a baby!
