    the house was perfect for us two, we know the area well and have seen this property cycling by many times. The garden is neglected, bushes overgrown, this badly impacts on the view from ground level - a half day gardening/cutting would soon rectify. Clearly this has not been done for many months and does not match the photos of the garden/view shown on HomeAway. The view is the main feature of staying in this property. All other gardens in this group of houses have unrestricted views because there gardens are kept under control. We have no problem with the house and will stay again as we are sure the garden can be easily dealt with.

    We were late getting there because of a long queue at the car hire desk and our navigation but Patrique and Veronique were still there to meet us and give us a guided tour of their holiday home. They have provided everything that they can think of to make your holiday enjoyable including 4 bikes and a Table Tennis table complete with bats and balls. The house is perfectly situated on a quiet street but within a couple of hundred yards of the supermarket , boulangerie , tourist information, chemist and even a boules court in the car park at the top of the hill. It is also central for getting about in the area .We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and have given it 5 stars but there is one aspect of the holiday customers should be aware of , you are now charged a service fee which in our case added another 11%+ on to the holiday and as is common in France you have to pay for Linen and towels which for us was another 16.6% and then cleaning which for us would have been another 16.6% but we cleaned the place ourselves . On top of this we had to pay 500 euros deposit against breakages which would normally be done by holding that amount on a credit card but they now take it from your a/c and then refund it to you 8 days after the holiday and we lost £13 due , presumably , to fluctuations in the exchange rate. These items did not detract from our holiday but I think it can be an important factor when deciding where to go and should be highlighted on the website
