  • Clean and functional cottage in beautiful area
    4 of 5

Loved our little weekend break near Bewl Water. The location is excellent for walking down the lanes to the reservoir and a good pub over the road. The cottage is attached to the main house but has it's own access and little veranda. The bedroom and sitting rooms look out over the garden and fields beyond. The kitchen is very practical and has everything you require with a fridge and small freezer compartment. Bathroom is lovely with large shower with good pressure. Bed very comfortable. Thank you very much.

  • Lovely converted stable on a working farm
    5 of 5

I recently had a 3 night stay at the Stables with my wife and two young kids (3 yr old and 4 month old). The owner Janet provided lots of information prior to the trip and we were very impressed with the cottage on arrival and the lovely welcome pack! The property has been converted to a very modern standard and combines this with a number of homely features. The woodburning fire in the living room and the birdfeeders on the veranda (with regular visitors including a woodpecker) were particular highlights. We were able to stroll around the working farm to visit the animals and felt very relaxed in our surroundings. The location of the farm is quiet but it is well located for local towns such as Rye and Hastings. Janet was a lovely host and we would love to come back again in the future!
