The Canyons was voted top 10 ski resorts in north America in 2012. It has 176 trails, 17 lifts, two cutting edge terrain parks, six natural half pipes and a new ski beach. In summer, Canyons offers scenic gondola rides, miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, and outdoor concerts in the village center
Our unit is an amazing penthouse, the best unit in the lodge and that is why: take all the nice things you've heard about the Escala lodge and add that you will have (1) the Best location in the lodge (main building, where you find the ski valet, lobby, restaurants and have the best view), (2) duplex penthouse with double vaulted ceiling, on the 5th and 6th floor (3) most flexible configuration (3 lock offs), (4) best view. Lovely brand new 2220 Sqf three bedrooms (purchased April 2012), in a full service world class luxury hotel with great amenities. Full kitchen (fully equipped), dining area (sits at least 8 people), living room with a fire place, TV and sofa sleeper, loft with another sofa sleeper and another TV, 4 balconies with great view, (each bedroom has a fireplace, flat screen TV and a private balcony) and full size washer/dryer. The property is new, spacious and comfortable. You can share a meal with your friends in a homey environment in your condo, or go out to any of the amazing restaurants on or off property. In addition you have complete privacy as the three bedrooms have completely independent entrances. The Canyons is definitely the best place to ski and to snowboard, and the mountain is only getting better, with more amenities and new lifts. The Hyatt brand is an indication of world-class service. Again, it is the best unit in the property, penthouse, main building, double vaulted and with the best view.
We also just bought (June 2013) another 1 bedroom unit in the Escala on the 2nd floor just next to the ski services and we own couple of properties across the street at the Westgate Lodge in case you need additional space (one and two bedroom)

After many years of living abroad and traveling and visiting resorts across the US, Europe, South America and Asia they found that this is the place they truly love!

Owners own sveral other properties; another one bedroom in the same building at the Hyatt, and 2 other units across the street at The Westgate Lodge(one and 2 bedroom).

Location, location, location. Also, we think that this particular unit is the best at the Escala lodge and arguably the whole Canyons Resort. We also love the easy access to the mountain, the beautiful facilities and of course the fact that it is driving distance from Las Vegas.
We actually own other properties at the Canyons (this one was the last purchase after spending so much time at the resort this past winter 2012). We love them and we use them all depending on how many people we have in our party.
This unit is truly amazing, with nice double vaulted ceilings, great view, 4 balconies, 4 fireplace, 5 flat screen TV, 2 levels, three bedrooms and a loft with three distinct lock-offs. We can spend great times together as a family or have completely independent units with a lot of privacy. Good for families with kids at all ages or few families or couples that want to share the place. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel, high-end appliances, wine coller, with a big dinning table great for entertaining.
The unit is in the Wasatch building which is the main building with the lobby, reception, restaurant, ski vallet etc. It is also the tallest building and the unit is on the top 2 levels, and best location for going out for skiing.
Our family of four just finished a fantastic and memorable vacation at the Canyons in Rom Hendler's beautiful and accommodating home within the Hyatt Escala. Another family of 3 also joined us. There was plenty of room for all of us and probably more! It was everything and more than we expected. This was our first ever family snow and ski vacation coming from south Florida. First I would like to complement the exceptional communication between the owner and the renter- from the moment we rented his home through the day we were checking out... he was available and always helpful. That was important to our family that we could be in contact with the owner should we have any questions. Everything that was promised to us was delivered. The home ( duplex / penthouse style townhouse within the Hyatt centric park ) is extremely roomy , offers privacy for ALL and has great common area. Loved that each room had a fire place. The view from all the rooms was beautiful. The location is PERFECT - if you ski or just go to relax and enjoy the change of scenery- this is the place to go.
Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a must- his appliances were great. Also important as we did not want housekeeping services was that there were PLENTY of towels- this made it very comfortable for our family and guests. The furniture in common area was very comfortable- the dinning table allowed for large families to enjoy quality dining together.
The staff at the Hyatt Escala - the valet for ski service and package delivery/grocery delivery- amazing!!! The front desk staff- wonderful- very point of contact we had from when we arrived to when we checked out was exceptional.
Staying here gave our family a most beautiful and memorable winter vacation. We can't wait for next year!!! Thank you Rom Hendler and family for everything!!!! Highly recommend your home- great location- great customer service and beautiful accommodations. Thank you.

The condo accommodated our group of 3 couples comfortably and luxuriously. The condo is well appointed with a lovely full kitchen and wet bar, enough room for a group to gather and cook and sip good wine, as it contains a wine refrigerator as well. The bedrooms are big and each couple had their own bathroom, balcony, closet and space for private coffees or drinks. We were especially impressed with the comfy and beautiful furniture as well as the number of outdoor balconies and televisions. Our visit was during the summer and it was easy to get in and out and around the Park City area. We walked around the ski areas and golf courses, easy and fun. You are close to Redstone shopping area which offers lots of places to pick up food, wine, and do some shopping. It was also close to the historical downtown which is a great stroll on a summer evening and has fabulous restaurants, such as Chimayo. Since you are in a private condo within a hotel, you have ease of going down for breakfast or a drink at the bar. The hotel staff are helpful. We love that you could valet park for no extra charge! The owner was very attentive to any and all questions and concerns, he was easy to get via email or text and always answered promptly. We did not have any problems, all was as it was stated by the VRBO site, in fact better. We all would highly recommend this Park City condo for a superb summer get away.
This is a beautiful condo that is very spacious and comfortable. We had a wonderful time in Park City with our family. It is very roomy and beautifully decorated, and there was plenty of room for our family of 7. My children loved having their own room with a fireplace, bathroom and balcony. The property had a great workout room and pool/hot tub that my children and I enjoyed. We will definitely rent this condo again. The owner, Rom, was very easy to work with and responded very quickly with questions we had regarding the property.

The condo was a great location for ski in/out with ski valet. Spacious for 10 utilizing every inch of the condo. Fabulous kitchen and resort amenities. Would stay there again!
Absolutely enjoyed this home, we ended up eating in every night after skiing because we loved it so much. Has a great open feel to it, super cozy. Can't wait to go back soon with my family. Ron, the owner was also very nice to work with.
